About the organization:
Doña Dora is a designer and manufacturer of wood-saving stoves in Guatemala. The stoves reduce firewood consumption by up to 50%, heats up for the first tortilla in 5 minutes, extracts all smoke out of the kitchen, avoids the risk of burns. The kitchen stays shiny because it doesn't have smoke smearing all over it since its smooth tiles are easy to keep clean for hygienic food preparation. The entire stove function comes pre-built with factory controls to ensure performance at home. The family can build their tailored base with block or adobe for a fixed stove.
